About me

I’m a wife, a stay-at-home mom to three wild little boys, and a certified herbal practitioner with a deep love for plants, natural living, and learning how to care for the people I love.

Herbalism has actually been tucked into my life longer than I realized. When I was around 10 years old, my dad and I made tinctures together. Were they any good? Honestly… probably not. 😂 But sixteen years later, here I am completely engulfed in learning about medicinal plants, making remedies, and building my own little home apothecary.

Bearfoot Apothecary started right in my home. It’s where I make teas, tinctures, infused oils, salves, topicals, and other herbal preparations for myself, my husband, my kids, and the people close to me.

For me, herbalism isn’t about being perfect or knowing everything. It’s about learning, experimenting, respecting the plants, and becoming more intentional about the things I bring into my home.

Bearfoot is my place to share that journey — the remedies I make, the herbs I’m studying, the things that work beautifully, the experiments that need a little tweaking, and everything I learn along the way.

I’m still growing, still studying, and probably always will be.

Welcome to my little corner of the woods. 🤎
